That said of course I disagree with it being a top 5 movie of all time, it doesn't even reach top 100 for me. But I always treated marvel movies in a different way because it would be unfair to compare it to far better films in many ways.
That out of the way, what I liked about Endgame is what I always liked about marvel movies, it is entertaining, the CGI is fantastic, the action is cool, the humor is good for the most part, last battle was great. So many things to like and enjoy about Endgame.
For the part that most people disagree about which is the first hour and a half. For me I liked what the Russo brothers tried to do, to humanize the characters and to show grief and how they are dealing with the aftermath, but for some reason it felt long and at the same time rushed ( I know it does not make sense ) like the whole Thor thing which was solved by beer ? it worked for Tony Stark and Captain America the best I guess, but stuff like the whole Hawkeye/Ronin thing was out of place, Rocket felt unnecessary in this movie, this whole Hulk thing I didn't get as well. So I appreciate the effort to make the characters more human but it did not work for all of them.
Now the deaths, I wasn't expecting Black Widow's death but I don't think I cared that much, for Iron man I know many people expected it, for me I didn't but I wasn't shocked, it was well done though and a great ending for his character.
So overall even with my complaints, it wasn't bad in any way, and you should watch it, I think.
